6 Health Benefit of kissing

Kissing – is a language which is known all over the globe. It is easiest way of showing affection to your partner and telling them that you them. But there is more to kissing than just affection or lust. Did you know that kissing not only helps to improve your bond with your partner but it also provides a range of health benefits? Today, we list down top 10 benefits you will receive when you smooch your sweetheart. Read it and don’t forget to share with your partner.

Keeps Your Teeth Pearly-White

Kissing is one of the natural ways of cleaning your teeth; wondering how? Dr. Stephen D’souza – Dental Practitioner says – kissing helps to break down the oral plaque and prevents cavities by the creation of saliva, which helps to keep bacteria away. Saliva which is created while kissing washes out your mouth, and removes the cavity causing food particles, thereby preventing decay. So start kissing everyday and spark your love with your partner and get cleaner teeth.

Boosts Immunity

A recent study reported in the journal Medical Hypotheses says that kissing may increase a woman's immunity from Cytomegalovirus. Cytomegalovirus, contracted through mouth to mouth contact, can cause infant blindness and other birth defects if the mother is a carrier during pregnancy. This virus is only harmful, if the woman is pregnant, otherwise it is totally harmless.

Calorie Buster

Kissing at least for a minute will help you to lose approximately 2-3 calories. To burn some calories, it is important that your kissing should be intense. Kissing also helps to double your metabolic rate. Thus, if you want to lose some calories without much hard work, then go on a kissing diet.

Boosts Cardiovascular Health

Adrenaline - the chemical or the hormone which is released from your body when you kiss your partner helps to promote heart health. This hormone makes your heart pump more blood around your body. This further helps to lower blood pressure and improves blood circulation in the body. So start kissing to maintain the health of your heart.

Stress Reliever

Had a bad day? Just kiss your partner and your head will be filled with all the positive feelings post-kissing. Kissing is a very good stress-reliever, as it helps to lower down the level of cortisol in your body and helps you to relax. A passionate kiss will make you smile and forget all the sorrows of your life. Instead of popping antidepressant pills, start kissing your partners to be happy.

Tones Your Facial Muscles

A passionate kiss involves movement of 34 facial muscles and up to 112 postural muscles in the rest of the body, which helps to keep your muscles tight and toned. A kissing session will increase the blood circulation of your face and give you a younger looking complexion.

Women love guitarists

Women love guitarists
Hey guys, are you still trying to answer the ever-so-complicated question of what women want? Recent research suggests that men who want to be more attractive should grab a guitar.

University of Bretagne-Sud and University of Paris made a young man approach 300 women between the ages of 18 to 22 and asked them for their phone numbers. A third of time he carried a guitar case, another time, a gym bag and rest of the time, he was empty-handed. The subject was least successful when holding the sports bag, gathering only nine per cent of the numbers.

When he approached women empty-handed, he succeeded 14 per cent of the time. However, his success rate was the highest with the guitar, with women offering their numbers 31 per cent of the time. In a separate study, Israeli researchers sent 100 female university students friend requests on Facebook, with some women receiving a photo of the man holding a guitar, the other half without. Without the guitar, three per cent of the women accepted his request, while 28 per cent accepted it only when he held the instrument.

In India, we spoke to some ladies who confessed that they had a soft corner for guitarists. “I love a man who others idolise. When my boyfriend is playing the guitar, all eyes are on him. At that moment, I feel special because that man is in my life. I asked him out because of this!” says 23-year-old Archita Kukreja, a fashion blogger. A Delhi-based guitarist, Arsh Sharma, is all smiles. “Since I picked up the instrument, I definitely have more women approaching me. It’s awesome,” he says.

Anne Hathaway goes bra-less to Met Ball

Anne Hathaway seems to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently wore a sheer dress with no underwear to the premiere of he new film Iron Man 3. The 30-year-old actress looked a lot different from her usual self as she posed on the red carpet with her peroxide hairdo and no
bra, the Daily Express reported.
The Hollywood star continued the punk trend by choosing to wear a black sheer dress, which showed off her bust.
She teamed the Valentino dress with bright coloured nails and heavy eyeliner as she posed with her hand on her hip.

Bollywood is in mood for love again

Much bashed for the fact, but mushy love was Bollywood’s  identity for a long time. Movies such as Maine Pyar Kiya and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge have outlined the definition of love in the country. Young often defied norms to live out their 'filmy fantasy'. If it was love, it
inadvertently found expression via Bollywood films.

Of late, successful love stories have come to depict our practical lives, be it Hum Tum or Love Aaj Kal. Films have become more practical and less romantic in the mushy sense of the word. Bollywood looked like a grown up woman - one who had had her share of chocolates and flowers in her teens but was looking for more of compatibility than just those tokens.

With the experimental new-wave cinema in vogue, Bollywood love story somehow lost a bit of its sheen, however, with movies like Aashiqui 2 and Chashme Buddoor, we wonder if mushy love is back.

Aashiqui 2 came as a surprise at the box office churning over Rs. 70 crore in a month. It earned Rs. 36 crore in the first week of its release and maintained a decent earning with Rs. 17 crore, Rs. 13 crore and Rs. 4.25 crore in the second, third and fourth weeks respectively.

The film was a sequel from Bhatt camp of the 90s superhit movie Aashiqui, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agrawal. (Figures courtesy: Twitter/Taran Adarsh) Aashiqui 2 is about the life and love of a famous singer who finds his soul mate in a poor, yet skilled girl.

The success of Chashme Baddoor at the box office brought love story in style again with a gross Rs. 39 crore earning on the box office in two weeks. (Figures courtesy: Boxofficeindia.com) The film was a remake of Sai Paranjape’s Chashme Buddoor (1981). This was a typical David Dhawan film with loads of humour.

There are a few movies lined up for release this year which are likely to carry on the newly-reborn legacy of the romance. Ranbir KapoorDeepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that releases on May 31 has been trying to cash-in on the chemistry of the lead actors.

With Ranbir Kapoor portraying the typical bad boy, as we see in the teasers of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the movie promises some more dose of romance in theatres.

Dhanush is known for his mushy lover boy roles in Tamil cinema. His Bollywood debut Raanjhanaa, too seems to aim at cashing in on his image. Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush play childhood lovers in the movie that is slated for release on June 21.

Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera is set Kolkata of early 1950s. The trailer gives us hope the movie will turn out to be one mushy, romantic story. The actor in an interview to Indian Express recently said, “Lootera is delicate and fragile, poetic and lyrical.” That does evoke Bollywood of yore.

Celebrating Hindi cinema at Cannes

Celebrating Hindi cinema at Cannes

Mercifully, the sun came out blazing on May 19 — the official India Day at Cannes and my last day at the festival. The sea sparkled a brilliant blue and the yachts were out in full force.

The sight was made more dazzling by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who gave interviews on the L’Oreal Paris

terrace at the Martinez Hotel. She’s lost oodles of weight and looked stunning in a Zac Posen skirt.  We chatted about how the festival has shaped her as an actor and the film that will induce her to come out of her self-imposed maternity leave.  All she was willing to say was: I’m reading scripts!

That morning Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox premiered to rave reviews. I interviewed Ritesh and his actors — Irrfan Khan and Nimrit Kaur — on a yacht parked in the dock next to the Palais. Ritesh told me that he was nervously counting the exits while the screening was on — six people left the theatre. He was later informed that all were buyers who ran out to buy the film — a bidding war instantly erupted.

Right after, we were back at the Martinez to shoot the Bombay Talkies gang — Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar. The four were getting ready for the red carpet for the gala screening of their film. Karan played stylist — Dibakar first wore a tuxedo but decided that he was more comfortable in a bandhgala, Zoya was perfecting the pallu of her Manish Malhotra sari while Anurag debated on the choice of sunglasses — one pair, he said, made him look straight out of Gangs of Wasseypur! Karan dished out last-minute sartorial advice, straightened bow-ties and blow-dried Anurag’s daughter’s hair. At the end of a frenzied hour, they all looked perfect.

The Bombay Talkies screening was followed by a sit-down dinner for 300 people. French women at the door greeted us with ‘namaste’ and garlands. Chicken tikka and paneer were on the menu. The guests included Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja, Aishwarya, Vidya Balan, Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mallika Sherawat, who has an uncanny knack for showing up where the action is!

It’s wonderful to be feted and celebrated at Cannes but finally, parties and red carpets are only the icing on the cake. Our films have to speak louder than our fashions. In the last two years, we’ve started to make an impression, and this year, The Lunchbox and Monsoon Shootout have furthered the cause. My hope is that next year, we will see an Indian film in the main competition section. That would be a real India Day!

Bollywood's fascination with dual roles dates back to its golden era, when Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor reigned supreme. Recall HUM DONO [Dev Anand], RAM AUR SHYAM [Dilip Kumar], DO KALIYAN [Neetu Singh], ARADHANA [Rajesh Khanna], SEETA AUR GEETA [Hema Malini], MAUSAM [Sharmila Tagore], DON [Amitabh Bachchan], AAKHREE RAASTA [Amitabh Bachchan], CHAALBAAZ [Sridevi], KISHEN KANHAIYA [Anil Kapoor], JUDWAA [Salman Khan], KAHO NAA... PYAAR HAI [Hrithik Roshan], DON [Shah Rukh Khan], ROWDY RATHORE [Akshay Kumar]... the protagonist in those movies left an indelible impression on cineastes. Now Arjun Kapoor gets to portray a double role very early in his career... in his second film itself -- AURANGZEB.

Rumors are rife that AURANGZEB is the present-day version of Yash Chopra's immensely likable TRISHUL. With modifications of course, to suit the present-day sensibilities. Much earlier, when YRF unveiled the promo of the film, the comparisons with Chandra Barot's DON had gathered momentum. So what's the truth? Well, AURANGZEB does bring back memories of TRISHUL as well as DON, but the premise, setting and execution are poles apart.

AURANGZEB, a crime drama, focuses on the land mafia and the enmity between two authoritative factions: Police and mafia. The film marks the big screen debut of Atul Sabharwal, who directed a crime show [POWDER] for Yash Raj's television unit. The director knows the technicalities right, but he falters -- and falters big time -- in narrating a gripping story in a concise format. Resultantly, the film tests the patience of the spectator in the second hour and the impact of several brilliant moments gets washed away in the process.

A family of policemen... A family of gangsters... Under the guise of a respected citizen, Yashwardhan [Jackie Shroff], runs a parallel world, a world where he is the Emperor. To bring down a criminal, the law will have to now think like a criminal! When Vishal [Arjun Kapoor] is planted in Yashwardhan's world in place of Ajay [Arjun Kapoor], the lawmakers [Rishi Kapoor and Prithviraj] roll the dice and a sequence of events unravel something much more than what Vishal bargained for, as he finds himself in a predicament that puts him to test!

AURANGZEB catches your eye initially. There are numerous characters in this cat and mouse saga and the storytelling, although slow-paced, keeps the spectator glued to the proceedings. Atul, who has also penned the screenplay, focuses on drama more than action/violence and the back story of the prominent characters as well as the menacing games they indulge in results in an invigorating first hour. Atul makes sure he packages the narrative well with moments that, although predictable at times, stay with you.

Like most Hindi movies, AURANGZEB suffers from the curse of the second hour syndrome, for the film languishes and fumbles soon after the intermission. There are too many issues, frankly. First and foremost, the drama loses sheen as it proceeds. Two, the drama seems never-ending and with too many characters and too many things happening in the movie, what comes across is a hodgepodge. Even the culmination fails to give you a high. Adding to the woes is its lethargic pacing!

To give the credit where it's due, Atul handles the dramatic moments adroitly, but the effort to cram too many characters and episodes in the screenplay hits the second hour of the film hard. Dialogue, so crucial in a film that has drama as its core selling point, is punch-packed at times, but commonplace otherwise. There's no scope for music here and the absence of a popular score too is a deterrent. The film is well shot, with the DoP [N. Karthik Ganesh] filming the outdoors with flourish.

Rishi Kapoor is the lifeline of the enterprise. He charms his way into the spectator's minds with a spectacular performance. It's a delight to watch Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh, a popular pair of the 1980s, after a hiatus in dominant parts. Jackie excels in his role, although he is sidelined subsequently. Amrita is super in a role that demands a scheming and manipulating woman.

Arjun Kapoor, who impressed critics and moviegoers alike in his debut film, gets to portray dual roles. The wild child is reminiscent of the part he portrayed in ISHAQZAADE, but the second role is sober and subdued. The youngster attempts to balance the dissimilar parts deftly, but falters in emotional moments. Newcomer Sasheh Agha gets to depict several bold scenes in her debut film and the newcomer seems quite comfortable and confident doing those.

Prithviraj, who debuted on the Hindi screen with AIYYAA, gets a meatier part this time, but the challenge lies in convincing the spectator that he looks his part of a North Indian. It's evident that the talented actor has polished his diction and speaks his lines effortlessly. Otherwise too, his performance is effectual. Deepti Naval is wasted. Ditto for Anupam Kher. Tanvi Azmi is efficient. Swara Bhaskar is limited to a few scenes. Sikander Berry doesn't get much scope.

On the whole, AURANGZEB has a great premise, but great plots don't, generally, translate into great films. This one's way too lengthy and mediocre [second hour] to leave any kind of an impression whatsoever. Disappointing!

Go Goa Gone

Go Goa Gone

Bollywood has dabbled with ghosts, spirits and paranormal movies aplenty. Besides, the supernatural and horror genre is fast gaining popularity with dream merchants, after a hiatus. Now, storytellers in Mumbai are geared up to take the genre to an altogether new level, introducing the spectators to zombies. GO GOA GONE, directed by Raj and DK, is India's first 'zom-com'.

Romance, action and comedy continue to be the most privileged genres in Bollywood, but the past few years have witnessed a number of experiments catching the audience eye. Fear and hilarity are opposite sides of the coin. To amalgamate them in a movie script requires a truly fertile mind because you don't anticipate humor and horror to go hand-in-hand. The expectations from GO GOA GONE are, evidently, colossal, in view of the fact that something like this hasn't been attempted on the Hindi screen earlier, although cineastes have witnessed zombies in Hollywood films. A zom-com can pave the way for movies of similar genre in times to come, if it finds an audience...

GO GOA GONE is looked forward to for varied reasons: The zom-com aspect, zany look of the film, Saif's bleached getup [he plays a zombie killer in the movie], wicked one-liners and enticing music... But the challenge lies in educating the spectator about zombies, since there's no zombie folklore to enlighten them thus far. Let's face it, making a zom-com means treading into untried, alien territory. It's always a peril if you think out of the box, when you offer something innovative to the spectator. At the same time, a subject like this offers ample opportunity to its maker to break rules.

But Raj and DK pull it off with flourish! A film like GO GOA GONE pushes the envelope and that, without beating around the bush, needs to be lauded!

Hardik [Kunal Khemu] and Luv [Vir Das] tag along to Goa with their best buddy, Bunny [Anand Tiwari], on his office trip. Luv comes across Luna [Puja Gupta], who invites him to an exclusive rave party on a remote island. The party is the brainchild of Russian mafioso Boris [Saif Ali Khan] to launch the ultimate party drug. But the party goes horribly wrong... All of a sudden, they are accosted by zombies!

GO GOA GONE comes across more as an adventure flick than a conventional horror film. Sure, it has its share of violence and gore, besides some cuss words, rave party et al, but the fun quotient is smartly integrated in the screenplay and what comes across is crazy, madcap amusement. The humor is smart and the factors that have resulted in an 'A' certificate have been done aesthetically and don't come across as distasteful or offensive. Frankly, Raj and DK make a genuine effort to give the viewers something they haven't watched before. The aim is to make you giggle and also shriek the next moment.

Perhaps, Raj and DK are enthused by Hollywood movies and there's no denying that GO GOA GONE is a film with Hollywood sensibilities. But the best part is that the film never gets dark or depressing. The wit and humor, generously interwoven in the narrative, keeps you smiling all through, despite the blood and gore. The only time the film loses its balance is towards the middle of the second hour, albeit slightly. Also, Anand Tiwari's back story of how he escaped from the clutches of the zombies could've been more persuasive, but the final moments bring the narrative back on track.

The soundtrack [Sachin-Jigar] is essential to the script and has its place in the proceedings. The film comprises of energetic tracks with some amusing, quirky lyrics. 'Khoon Choos Le' and 'Babaji Ki Booty' match the theme of the film wonderfully. The background score is electrifying. The music piece at the rave party in particular is trippy. Dialogue, much like the content of the film, are aimed at the youngistaan and if one may say so, make you chuckle on varied occasions. Cinematography is perfect.

Saif balances the suave and uncouth persona with effortlessness. Even if the narrative tends to dip at times, Saif makes sure he breathes life into the proceedings. Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari are a riot. The youngsters pull off their acts and indulge in dramatics without going overboard. The camaraderie is great! Kunal is a revelation. He sheds all inhibitions and delivers a punch-packed performance. Vir Das is a complete natural. He essays his part with super conviction. Anand Tiwari is in terrific form. This film should prove a big turnaround in his career. Puja gets a meaty part to make her presence felt and she does very well.

On the whole, GO GOA GONE is experimental since something like this has never been attempted earlier. But it's fun, witty, amusing and yes, thoroughly entertaining. The youngistaan is sure to love this mad, mad, mad ride!

Gold, silver prices fall further on sluggish demand

Gold rush<br>
New Delhi: In restricted trading activities, gold and silver prices fell further in the national capital on Wednesday due to slackened demand at prevailing levels amid a weak global trend.
While gold shed another Rs 50 to Rs 27,900 per ten grams, silver lost Rs 135 to Rs 46,600 per kg on lack of buying support.
Traders said sluggish demand at current level and closure of markets for a public holiday kept pressure on the precious metals.
The bullion market in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and futures commodity markets were closed today on account of 'May Day.'
Gold in London, which normally set price trend on the domestic front, slid 0.4 per cent to USD 1,470.58 an ounce and silver dipped 0.8 per cent to USD 24.13 an ounce.
On the domestic front, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity shed Rs 50 each at Rs 27,900 and Rs 27,700 per ten grams, respectively. The metal had lost Rs 250 yesterday.

How many different sex positions have you tried? One, two or five?  That’s like having eaten only five different dishes all your life! No wonder people in relationships claim sex gets boring after a while. To keep things interesting and help spice up your sex life,health.india.com is going to try and bring out a list of every sex position known to humankind. After exploring the standard missionary position in the first part of the series we are going to talk about a far naughtier decision in this outing
Rear Entry or Doggy Style
It usually involves the woman on her knees facing away from the partner. Some variations can have the woman lying face down as well with a pillow under her belly for more leverage.
Pros: It’s a different sort of penetration from traditional missionary and allows the penis to hit the G-spot better, which is supposed to be located somewhere along the front vaginal wall. Also if a woman is bent on her knees, it also allows space for clitoral stimulation with the hand. During pregnancies, this style is more comfortable for the female partner because there’s no weight on the belly. This style is often associated with rough sex and quite popular with the ladies who even in these egalitarian age want a real man from time to time.
Cons: The position is less personal because there’s no eye contact. Also many women aren’t comfortable because it leaves them in a slightly vulnerable position. The degree and angle of penetration can hurt for some people.
This is just the second part of the series. Watch out for other sex positions like woman on top, reverse cowgirl, sixty-nine, spooning and many more. Also find out how to beat erectile dysfunction and cure premature ejaculation.

Revealed – the size of the average Indian penis!

Revealed – the size of the average Indian penis!

What is the average penis size of Indian male? That is one question we’ve never been able to answer accurately because there was no data. This had led to a situation where Indian men really had no clue about what was average for them and resulted in a great deal of insecurity.  The anonymous surveydesigned by Dr Vijaysarathi Ramanathan, was a joint initiative between health.india.com and the SSS Centre for Sexual Health allowed us to not only answer the question about average size but also other questions like – ‘How much do men care about the size of their penis?’, ‘How important is it to their partners?’ and ‘How many men wanted to increase their size?’. A total of 1670 people completed the survey and this has helped us reach a degree of consensus about the size of Indian men:
Demographics
Of the respondents, 36% were married while 21 % were in a romantic relationship and 41% weren’t in any sort of romantic relationship. 89% of the respondents were heterosexual with 4% homosexual, 6% bisexual and 1% who weren’t interested at sex at all.
penis length
And the average size is 5.54 inches (14.07 cm) length and 3.11 inches (7.9 cm)
77% men claimed to have measured their penis size before and the average length was found to be 5.54 inches (or 14.07 cm). Most people had penis sizes which were between 5.1-6 inches (38.84%) followed by 3.1-5 inches (32.49%) and 6.1-7 inches (16.69%).  About 3.76% had penises less than 3 inches which would mean that they suffer from the condition called micropenis. The average girth was found to be (circumference around the centre) 7.9 cm (1cm to 23 cm).
How do you perceive the current size of your penis
52% want it longer, 34% want it thicker
When questioned whether they cared about the their penis size 31% said they were fine with their size while 52% wished their penis was longer and 34% wished it was thicker. 9% of them said they were fine with their penis size but their partner wasn’t. A large proportion of men responded that the dimensions of their penis – length (59%) and girth (63%) – were very important to them. On the other hand, men reported that the length and girth of their penis was important for their sexual partners in 43% and 45% of cases respectively.
Read: Sex without a penis – it’s possible!
33% very worried about their size
why wont you seek professional help
One out two men were concerned about their penis size and out of this 1/3rd of them said that the level of concern was serious, very serious or distressing. However, a large proportion (42%) of these men claimed that they wouldn’t seek help, while 38% were willing and 7% had sought professional help in the past. Embarrassment (43%) and financial constraints (38%) were the two most commonly reported barriers to seeking help.
49% prefer sexologists
where will you seek helpSpecialist medical doctors like sexologists are the most preferred source of help (49%) followed by online help (43%). About 10% of them claimed to have or wanted to purchase penis enlargement products online.
Doc talk
Dr Vijaysarathi Ramanathan who designed the questionnaire of the survey and is also part of India.com Health’s expert panel said, ‘Many of these findings are the first of their kind to be generated in India. This exploratory pilot survey has provided some valuable date about the penis size and also given us some insight into what Indian men think and feel about their penis size. It also tells us about their attitudes for penis size specific sexual concerns.’
However, Dr Ramanathan says we must take the survey results with a pinch of salt, ’The penis size measurements were self-reported and there is high probability for errors in measuring or reporting driven by social desirability to report socially acceptable values. The measurement aspect of this study needs further qualification through standardised measurement techniques using a community sample, which in itself is a great challenge.’
Note: The results of the survey are the intellectual property of Dr Vijaysarathi Ramanathan and health.india.com and can’t be reproduced without prior permission.
